Voice-over pricing depends on several factors, including where the audio will be used (radio, TV, online), the size of the market (local, national, global), script length, style of read, and how the performance will be used.
Projects may be quoted by overall scope, script length, or word count.
Clear project details help me give you an accurate estimate and deliver the performance you're looking for.
The rates listed below represent starting points and are generally built around a standard session fee.

All pricing is based on the U.S. market. Smaller regions or limited usage typically mean lower rates.

Pricing
Commercials (Web Only and YouTube Pre-Roll)
Commercials, to be shown online, social media, company websites and YouTube. Please see Commercials (TV) for specific usage.
BSF: $200
Usage Fee: 200% of BSF per year of usage.
Commercials (TV)
Commercials shown on television. Usage is always based on TVRs. Please detail the total TVRs and the regions of each campaign for a full quote calculated via https://www.usefee.tv/
BSF: $200
Usage Fee: 300% of BSF per year of usage
Corporate (Public)
Online productions that are shown on a company website, social media, YouTube or similar, that aren't being used in a paid commercial context.
BSF: $200
Usage Fee: $100
Explainers
How-to videos, whiteboard style often with cartoons and animations, usually around 1-2 minutes long. Shown online with non-paid usage.
BSF: $200
Usage Fee: $100
Corporate (Internal)
Making a video for your business that is going to live behind a paywall, on an intranet or only be shared internally? Non-public, offline usage is covered here.
BSF: $200
Usage Fee: No usage fee if not made accessible to the public online.
E-Learning
Charged per-scripted-word, with a minimum fee of $200. Price Per word after first 300: $0.20

Medical E-Learning and Medical Narration
Due to the more involved preparation for medical terminology, all medical narration is priced per hour of studio time. In some cases, a post-production fee will be added depending on your requirements (music background, SFX, etc.)
BSF: $200

Video Games
Pricing for video games varies greatly depending on the rank of A, AA and AAA titles. Please get in touch for a custom quote. For indie projects I price according to the VAC rate guide.
BSF: $300
Usage Fee: Always negotiated. Either as a percentage of the BSF, or a one-off payment.
Radio
I work on a variety of radio commercials each year, ranging from local to national campaigns.

Rates for other projects are very much client and project dependant, though a good reference point is the Gravy for the Brain Rate Card. But please do not hesitate to contact me for an exact quote.
