With the creator boom, trailers have been a growing component of promotion. It invites the audience into something exciting, either with it’s mysterious tone or even friendly nature. It’s not that the voice just has to “sound nice” or “epic”, it’s got to have the human gesture of “Come see what’s inside”.

I’ve had the pleasure of voicing well over a hundred trailers for video games, novels, kickstarter projects, board games, events, music festivals and live shows. My clients were not only looking for a voice, but a believable character or personality that fit their universe or target audience.
